Wellness Whittling Session

Wildlife Trust for Beds, Cambs and Northants have collaborated with David Yule to run Wellness Wood Whittling sessions at Wardown Park. Sessions run between 10am till 12:30pm.  Meet outside the abortorium opposite the Wardown Museum. Discover the joy of whittling! Learn to use carving knives safely and complete a new project every week. Build your confidence, get creative and enjoy the calming benefits of this craft in Wardown Park’s beautiful Arboretum. Tickets cost £6.50 + Eventbrite fee per session. Refreshments and facilities are available. Menopause Group Consultation Feedback

Juliet, Jane and Emma carried out a 6-week Group Consultation centred around Menopause, with special assistance from Dr Sophia Azhar. Each week focused on a specific area related to Menopause, providing information and advice to patients attending. The schedule can be viewed below… Week 1: Week 2: Week 3: Week 4: Week 5: Week 6: Feedback from the patients was very positive, including: “That was a great experience with Dr Azhar, she really explains very well and in detail. She is quite an easy going, approachable, understanding and quite knowledgeable person.” “Excellent, the GP was very knowledgeable and informative. We were able to have discussions in a relaxed atmosphere.” “These sessions are informative and I learned a lot of symptoms about menopause which I was already experiencing for a long time.”
