Hatters Fortnightly Wellbeing Walks

Hatters Health PCN are focused on supporting patients to improve their physical, mental, emotional and social health and wellbeing. With this in mind, one of our Social Prescribers completed walk leader training with the Ramblers Association and has developed a walking group for Hatters Health PCN patients – and those from the wider community. With the many health benefits gained through walking, including building stamina and strength, burning calories, improving heart health, lowering blood pressure, supporting weight loss, keeping joint, muscles and bones strong and being a natural mood booster for low mood, not to mention the social benefits of connecting with others and reducing social isolation, it is easy to see how walking can be a great way to support and improve such conditions. There are currently two regular walks which are offered fortnightly on a Tuesday morning. In addition to four further monthly, longer walks being trialled from August to December. All walks dates and meeting information are displayed on our social media sites and our website via our promotional flyers. All are welcome. For more information about any of our walks, please call 01582 347187
