Hatters Health Patient Participation Group* PPG

What is a PPG?

  • A PPG is a group of volunteer patients, carers, and GP practice staff.
  • They meet regularly to discuss practice issues, patient experiences, and ways to improve services.
  • PPGs aim to ensure patients are at the heart of the practice’s work and that their voices are heard.
  • They can also be involved in health promotion and developing strong links with local health commissioners.

How can you help?

  • Do you want to make a meaningful difference within your surgery and community?
  • Would you like to share your views and be part of improving health and wellbeing across your primary care population?
  • Can you represent other patient’s voices and provide feedback to GP practices to help drive change?
  • Would you like to gather views / share information with other patients within the community?
  • Are you able to commit to quarterly meetings with your GP staff and other patient volunteers?
  • If you would like to learn more about what’s involved in becoming a volunteer member of our Hatters Patient Participation Group (PPG) and how you can support your surgery, please speak to a member of your GP surgery staff who will arrange for one of our Health and Wellbeing Team to contact you to discuss further.

We would love to hear from you today!
